The Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television has announced its pick to host the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards: Howie Mandel!
Born and raised in Toronto, the standup comic, actor, producer and “America’s Got Talent” judge has proven himself to be one of the most versatile performers around, and says he’s excited to take on this new challenge.
“I’m thrilled to be hosting the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards,” said Mandel in the statement. “I don’t only look at it as honouring the best in Canadian entertainment, but more importantly, I am so excited about the free trip home!”
