Zsa Zsa Gabor, the Hungarian-American actress and socialite who captivated audiences with her beauty and European flair, has died at 99-years-old, her rep confirms to CBS.
The actress died in her home on Sunday, publicist Ed Lozzi reveals.
Her death comes only weeks before the star was set to celebrate her 100th birthday on Feb. 6. Her birth name was Sari Gabor, but her family nickname was Zsa Zsa.

Gabor and her sisters Eva and Magda were socialites in Beverly Hills for several decades, with many calling Zsa Zsa the original version of Kim Kardashian.
Gabor was married nine times over the course of her life, wed for the first time at age 20 and the last at almost 70. “A girl must marry for love, and keep on marrying until she finds it,” she once said, according to The New York Times.
The star was married to hotel magnate Conrad Hilton, after emigrating to the United States – escaping the Nazis with her two sisters and mother – from Budapest during World War II. She had her only child with Hilton, Constance Francesca, who was born in 1947 and died in 2015.
As Gabor’s health declined over the years, her last husband Frederic Prinz Von Anhalt reportedly continued to throw her birthday parties despite the star being bedroom-bound due to poor health.

Gabor had suffered many health setbacks in recent years. Last February, the aging bombshell was rushed to the hospital after having trouble breathing. In 2010, she broke her hip and suffered a concussion. And the following year, Gabor was forced to have her leg amputated due to an infection.
Stars quickly turned to social media to pay tribute to the Hollywood icon.
