So what does diva’s diva Mariah Carey think of current chart-toppers Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande? Not much — because she claims to have no idea who they even are.
During an appearance on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” to promote her new docu-series “Mariah’s World”, Cohen asked about some shade-throwing comments Lovato made this summer.
“She made assumptions about Ariana Grande, and she said, ‘Mariah’s a legend and she’s so talented but she disses people. It’s nasty the way she treats Jennifer [Lopez].’ What would you say to Demi?”
Carey — who once famously dissed JLo by claiming to not know who she was — replied in similar fashion.

”I don’t know her either and so I wouldn’t say anything to her,” she said of Lovato. “She should come up, introduce herself to me, say, ‘Here’s my opinion, what do you think about it?’ That’s how you handle s**t, OK?”
Lovato was not the only star to feel the wrath of “the elusive chanteuse.” Earlier in the interview, Cohen asked Carey if she knew Ariana Grande. “No,” she said dismissively. “I don’t know… Honestly, I’m not familiar. I listen to hip-hop more than I listen to pop music.”
