Beloved sitcom “Scrubs” retains a loyal fan base of viewers who hung in for nine seasons to enjoy the hilarious medical misadventures of young doctors J.D. Dorian (Zach Braff), Elliott Reid (Sarah Chalke), Christopher Turk (Donald Faison) and the rest of the denizens of Sacred Heart Hospital. But will fans ever see a reunion?

The likelihood of a “Scrubs” revival has just escalated from “Who knows?” to a solid “Maybe” following a Twitter Q&A hosted by Braff, reports NME, with Braff asked about the show staging a comeback in a manner similar to such recent TV revivals as “Fuller House” and “Gilmore Girls”.

“You never know, it’s something we all talk about,” Braff said, admitting he felt some “jealousy” over those revived shows. “I’m very jealous of all this ‘Gilmore Girls’ attention, and ‘Full House’, so we talk about it every now and then.”

“So you never know,” added Braff. “It could happen. I’d do it.

The actor/director proceeded to add fuel to the fire — or perhaps was just being mischievous — when he followed up with a cryptic tweet referencing a Daily Mirror article claiming he had “pretty much confirmed” that ‘Scrubs’ was returning.
