Police are reporting that on Monday evening, a truck drove into a crowded Christmas market in central Berlin. This appears to be one of the deadliest attacks in Germany in decades.

A man was arrested by German police near the scene of the Berlin Christmas market and they are continuing to investigate whether he was the driver of the truck. Police are also reporting that there are no indications of any other situations in or around the area, but are urging people to keep away from the scene.
