Alec Baldwin is taking a huge pay cut when it comes to his latest television role.

The actor is making regular weekly appearances on “Saturday Night Live” to deliver his widely popular impression of Donald Trump, but recent reports about his salary indicate that he’s taking in a tiny fraction of his “30 Rock” paycheque.

Baldwin recently addressed the power of his impersonations with the New York Times after a friend accused him of humanizing the controversial president-elect. “I do recognize that that is a possibility,” he acknowledged. “But I think that now that he is the president, we have an obligation — as we would if it was him or her — to dial it up as much as we can.”
