Delta Air Lines released a follow-up to their statement issued on Wednesday in response to the accusations from YouTube star Adam Saleh claiming that he was kicked off the flight for speaking Arabic.

“Upon landing the crew was debriefed and multiple passenger statements collected. Based on the information collected to date, it appears the customers who were removed sought to disrupt the cabin with provocative behaviour, including shouting,” the updated address read. “This type of conduct is not welcome on any Delta flight.”
Delta continued, explaining that “while one, according to media reports, is a known prankster who was video recorded and encouraged by his travelling companion, what is paramount to Delta is the safety and comfort of our passengers and employees. It is clear these individuals sought to violate that priority.
Earlier on Wednesday, the airline’s statement about the issue was different: “Two customers were removed from this flight and later rebooked after a disturbance in the cabin resulted in more than 20 customers expressing their discomfort. We’re conducting a full review to understand what transpired. We are taking allegations of discrimination very seriously; our culture requires treating others with respect.”
Adam Saleh sent out several tweets on Wednesday to his 268,000 followers on Twitter regarding the issue on the flight. In an interview with CBS News, Saleh said he is always flying and is upset because this has never happened before. “I speak to my mom on the phone every flight. She only speaks Arabic,” said the YouTube star.
Saleh claims he was speaking to her and another passenger on the flight turned to him and said he should be speaking English. He responded saying he can speak whatever language he likes, and then the passengers got into a verbal altercation.
Saleh posted a video on Twitter, showing him getting escorted off the plane. (Warning: The video contains vulgar language)
Celebrities are reacting to the story as well. Olivia Wilde has also spoken out on the matter on Twitter:
