Lily Tomlin, Catherine Keener, And More Celebrate Jane Fonda’s Birthday By Supporting Standing Rock

At the age of 79, Jane Fonda is still an incredibly vocal activist, and that is just how she celebrated her birthday on Wednesday in Los Angeles.

The actress, joined by her friends Lily Tomlin, Frances Fisher, and Catherine Keener, marched alongside labour leader Dolores Huerta in support of the people of Standing Rock in the fight against the Dakota Access Pipeline at the #BankExit rally.

They did take the time during their activism to celebrate Fonda’s birthday, with Fisher and Tomlin singing “Happy Birthday” to her as cake was being served.

This continues Fonda’s support of the movement. In November, the actress joined a group of 50 delegates to serve a Thanksgiving dinner to Standing Rock activists.
