Halloween may be more than a month-and-a-half away, but a pair of recently released (and extra-creepy) trailers are trending on Facebook, proving that TV viewers are anxiously awaiting some fresh frights when The Walking Dead and American Horror Story return with news seasons next month.
American Horror Story: Freak Show debuts on Wednesday, Oct. 8, when we will meet the denizens of the carnival sideshow run by Elsa Mars (Jessica Lange), including husky strong man Wendell del Tolito (Michael Chiklis), his bearded ex-wife Ethel Darling (Kathy Bates), their claw-handed son (Evan Peters), three-breasted Desiree Dupre (Angela Bassett) and conjoined twins Bette and Dot Tattler.
A few days later, on Sunday, Oct. 12, The Walking Dead kicks off its fifth season with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his fellow survivors in the clutches of the not-so-benign residents of Terminus. Judging by this trailer, an explosive confrontation is coming.
