‘Star Wars’ Feud Between Anthony Daniels And Alan Tudyk Gets Real

Anthony Daniels, who played C-3PO in the “Star Wars” franchise, is not fond of the new actors getting away with playing a droid easily.

Alan Tudyk, who plays K-2SO in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” told Conan O’Brien on Monday that Daniels had some choice words for Tudyk when they saw each other recently.

“Daniels went on about the suit that he had to wear and that ‘originally they put screws in my head and they closed it’ and he had to be on this thing. He said, ‘Wait a minute, are you wearing an actual robot costume, or are they doing it in motion capture?’,” Tudyk revealed.

The actor then confessed that for “Rogue One” it was being done with motion capture, to which Daniels said, “You s***.”

The two then ran into each other again at the premiere of the recent “Star Wars” film and Tudyk asked Daniels to give him notes on his performance after the movie. “And I saw him at the party afterwards and he came up and said, ‘F*** you.’ And that’s one of the best compliments I’ve got!”
