Keke Palmer Defends Bella Thorne Amid Charlie Puth Twitter Drama

Keke Palmer is taking a stand on behalf of Bella Thorne.

On Thursday, the 19-year-old former Disney star came under fire after Paper magazine released an interview that quoted Thorne speaking sweetly about her then-boyfriend, “Teen Wolf” actor Tyler Posey.

Prior to the release, Thorne had been spotted spending time in Florida over the weekend with singer Charlie Puth, who, in turn, misread the interview thinking that the actress was still with her former beau.

While later Thorne claimed to have been broken up with Posey for the past two weeks, Puth took to Twitter, publicly ending his short-lived fling with the actress and apologizing to her ex.

No one should have their heart messed with like this, and I'm not going to be in the middle of it.

In response to the very public break-up, “Scream Queens” star Keke Palmer took to Twitter on Friday to defend her friend Thorne and question Puth as to why he didn’t speak privately with the actress before going online.

Thorne retweeted the message from her friend, and tweeted out a similar sentiment.

Charlie and I were hanging out..he saw an old interview and got butthurt but instead of texting me and asking about it he put it on Twitter.
