Get your motor running and head out on the highway, because the seventh and final season of Sons of Anarchy begins tonight. Star Charlie Hunnam, who plays Sons leader Jax Teller, spoke with ET Canada about what fans can expect from this swan song season.
“Obviously he’s heartbroken, devastated,”; says Charlie of Jax, who’s grieving the murder of beloved wife Tara (Maggie Siff) while preparing to dole out a heaping helping of SAMCRO vengeance. “Tara truly was the love of his life. To get her so abruptly and brutally taken from him has kind of shattered him to the core.”;
Like his character, Charlie admits he’s having a bit of a tough time knowing this season will be Sons” last. “It’s going to be difficult for all of us,”; he says, “but I know it’s going to be really difficult for me.”;
The new season of Sons of Anarchy premieres Tuesday, Sept. 9.
