Mel B’s daughters want the Spice Girls to reunite and they’re surely not the only ones.

Sitting down for a one-on-one on “Late Night with Seth Meyers”, Mel B says her three daughters were stoked on the Spice Girls reunion tour: “My daughters surprised us on set in London when we were doing the Spice Girls tour and to them the band aren’t real people- they’re Baby, Sporty, Posh and Ginger and I’m like “they have real names!”

Adding: “The kids (Phoenix, 17, Angel, 9, Madison, 5) want the Spice Girls to get back together. They missed that cycle so I’m hoping once we have our schedule sorted we can say thank you to the fans for all the support and celebrate.”

Meyers praised the former group for being “emotionally ready to get back together”, to which Mel B explained: “We’ve all grown up, we’re not b***hes anymore.”

Whether the group will ever properly reunite remains to be seen, but in the meantime the 41-year-old singer will have her hands full with her new role in the musical “Chicago”: “I actually auditioned for Chicago about nine years ago and then I went off with Spice Girls to do the tour,” she revealed. “Then it just so happened that I had four months off after my judging stint finished, so I filled it by being here in New York.”

And it’s more than just performing that appeals to her: “It’s just not just about doing ‘Chicago’ even though it’s a play that’s amazing and has been running for 20 years, but to be in New York at Christmas time with my kids loving it — I’ve never done it before, it’s amazing.”
