Priyanka Chopra Says ‘Being Objectified Is Part of My Job’

Priyanka Chopra is the first to admit that sometimes good-looks are part of the industry.

In an interview with, the actress insists she has no problems being described as a sex symbol: “Being objectified is part of my job,” she says. “I don’t get offended by being called a sex symbol, because I’m an actress and it’s the nature of what I do.”

That being said Chopra, 34, doesn’t think “sex symbol” should be an actress’ ultimate goal: “But I don’t think being a sex symbol is something you want to aim for. Of course you want to be hot, but that’s not all you want to stand for.”

Speaking of looking good, the Indian-born actress will appear alongside heartthrobs Zac Efron and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the new “Baywatch” film.
