D.J. Tanner is coming back to Netflix!
“Fuller House” was greenlit for a third season.
The news was announced via the show’s social media accounts on Christmas Eve, including an adorable video of the cast passing a red-and-gold gift wrapped present to one another.
“This gift’s for you. 🎁Fuller House Season 3, coming 2017,” the video, posted Saturday, was captioned.
Candace Cameron Bure shared the same video but adorably captioned hers, “Oh Mylanta! Christmas came early! @fullerhouse Season THREE, coming 2017!! Best gift ever. ❤🏡🎄#FullerHouse @netflix #MerryChristmas.”
Her on-screen sister, Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) did the same via Twitter. “We’re picked up for Season 3!!!!” she wrote. “Thanks @netflix for the best Christmas present of them all! ❤️🎉 #fullerhouse #season3 @fullerhouse.”

Then on Christmas Day, the show shared a video of the “Fuller House” leading ladies, Bure, Sweetin and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibler), wishing fans a very happy holiday.
Bure also posted a sweet picture to Instagram, showing how her family celebrated Christmas Eve.
The second season of “Fuller House” was just released earlier this month, on Dec. 9. One episode featured a memorable cameo from Alan Thicke, who sadly died of a heart attack on Dec. 13.
