Her “Star Wars” co-star and friend, Mark Hamill, shared a note on Twitter on Fisher’s passing. With the hashtag #AFewWords, Hamill described Fisher as “a vital, irreplaceable, member of the family,” echoing a lot of Hollywood’s feelings on the loss of the icon.

Hamill went on to say that Fisher was one-of-a-kind and was “OUR Princess, damn it.” Fisher was a crucial role in his professional and personal life and he credits her with making them not as empty as they could have been without her.
