Leah Remini’s tell-all series targeting the Church of Scientology has had no shortage of shocking claims, but Tuesday’s episode may be the most disturbing.

Remini and her “Scientology and the Aftermath” co-host Mike Rinder travelled to Denver, Colorado, to meet with former Sea Organization members Marc and Claire Henley.

Claire discussed meeting Marc when she was 17 and he was 19, before revealing she had an abortion. “If a woman got pregnant, she would instantly be scheduled to get an abortion,” adding that she knew people who had “up to six” abortions.

She alleged this was because being pregnant while a member of the Sea Organization meant you wanted to leave. Marc also claimed to have been assaulted by Scientology church leader David Miscavige: “I made a snide comment… He went off. He just started punching me and slugging me and pushed me up to a desk unit… The pope of Scientology just beat the s**t out of me.”

They left the Church in 2005 and although they pursued legal action nothing came of it. They say they spoke to authorities “in depth” and despite losing individual lawsuits, the couple continue to spread the word about “forced abortions.”
