Singer Trey Songz was arrested by police on Wednesday during a Detroit performance.
The singer refused to leave the stage at Joe Louis Arena, according to The Detroit News, and officers stepped in and took the singer into custody. Trey Songz was arrested for malicious destruction of property and resisting and obstructing arrest, according to officers.
The singer’s mugshot was posted to Twitter on Thursday with a note that he could post bond soon as well:
Trey Songz went over time during his performance at the fourth annual Big Show at the Joe, a concert put on by radio station FM 98 WJLB and Channel 955. Near midnight, the singer was informed it was time to wrap up but refused. He began to trash the stage and break equipment.
