Amidst reports that she just entered rehab for the fifth time, Heather Locklear has issued a statement addressing the reports, neither confirming nor denying the rumours.

“I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life,” says the former “Dynasty” star in her statement. “Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead.”

On Monday, RadarOnline reported that Locklear suffered a massive “breakdown” over the holidays, and was brought into a Malibu rehab facility “drunk and on pills, crying and screaming.”

In addition, RadarOnline cites a source who claims that Locklear “had to be helped [into the facility] because she was so f***ed up!” The source added: “She’s on alcohol and benzo[s]. She’s in a private house with two other people. The only time she comes out is to see the doctor.”

Star of TV hits ranging from “T.J. Hooker” to “Melrose Place” to “Spin City”, Locklear has had a long history of issues involving alcohol and drugs, having entered rehab in 2008 (the same year she was charged with DUI), with subsequent rehab stints in 2010 and again in 2012.

Back in August, tabloids reported that Locklear was in a “downward spiral” and faced financial troubles, although friends of the actress disputed those claims.
