The second season of “Degrassi: Next Class” ended on a huge cliffhanger when a school bus full of students was involved in a nasty crash.

The new season will pick up in the moments following the devastating accident, and thanks to a just-released teaser for season three, fans won’t have to wait until the season premiere to find out what happened to those on the bus.

As fans recall, the fates of a number of students — including Jonah, Zig, Tiny, Tristan, Grace and Maya — were left hanging, and this new trailer provides a glimpse of how they and their traumatized friends are handling the aftermath.

In addition to all that drama, the third season will also introduce some fresh faces to Degrassi High, including a pair of Syrian refugees played by Parham Rownaghi and Dalia Yegavian).

Season three of “Degrassi: Next Class” debuts on Friday, Jan. 6.
