Update: Details surrounding George Clooney’s upcoming wedding are being pieced together with the latest leak surrounding the nuptials opulent selection of booze.

Video shows Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila business partner and best friend, Rande Gerber, loading a private jet with 50 cases of the ultra-premium liquor set to land in Italy anytime now.

Cindy Crawford’s husband greeting greeted employees and oversaw the operation before boarding the fully-stocked company plane with two bottles in hand for the long flight.

Entertainment Tonight confirms that Clooney and fiancée Alamuddin will wed Saturday evening, with a civil ceremony set for Monday, September 29.

When you’re one of the world’s biggest celebrities, privacy can be a fleeting thing. Especially as your wedding day approaches.

George Clooney knows this better than anyone. Despite the 53-year-old’s best efforts, details of his upcoming nuptials to human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin have been released by the Italian media.

According to Corriere della Sera, the three-day wedding festivities will be capped by a ceremony at  Ca’Farsetti, a 14th-century palace in Venice, Italy. The former mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni, will perform the service. And guests are said to be staying at the Hotel Aman, a seven-star (!) luxury resort. (Suites are priced at about $5,000 a night, in case you’re curious.)

Other released – albeit unconfirmed – details: Lana Del Rey will perform at the wedding’s reception. And the high-profile guest list will include everyone from Bono to Brad Pitt to Julia Roberts to (take this with a grain of salt) President Obama. Yes, nothing like a couple dozen secret service folks to make attendees feel right at home!

As for the style component, the bride is said to be wearing a stunning Oscar de la Renta gown (unconfirmed). And the groom? Well, this photo of Giorgio Armani’s assistant arriving at George Clooney’s villa certainly speaks volumes, no?
