The hip-hop stars both announced they’ve agreed to take part in a three-round match that will be televised.
On Wednesday, Soulja Boy shared a post on Instagram promoting the fight: “It’s going down! Signed my contract.” Soulja Boy also revealed that Mayweather will be training him. The battle will take place in March in Las Vegas.
Brown also shared a post on Instagram, confirming the fight:

The feud all began when the two fought about Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, after Soulja Boy liked an Instragram picture of her. Brown called Soulja Boy after he liked the picture and threatened him. Soulja Boy continued to appear on Tran’s Instragram and the rapper went after Brown on Twitter, which led Brown to put out a statement on Instagram addressing their feud.
But that was just the beginning. Brown’s pal 50 Cent posted a video on Instagram in which he’s chatting with former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson in order to entice “Iron Mike” to train Brown for the big fight:

Two days after their conversation, Mike Tyson himself confirmed that he’ll be hitting the gym with Chris Brown to train him for the fight.
“It’s official,” writes Tyson on Instagram, accompanying a video. “I’m going to train @chrisbrownofficial. Gonna teach him every dirty trick in the book to knockout @souljaboy. #showup #desertbeatdown #norunning #noexcuses @fredfrenchy”
In February, the fight was called off. Soulja Boy tweeted that Chris Brown called the rapper’s manager and said the fight was no longer going to happen. Brown didn’t sign the contract for the fight, causing the event to fall through:
