Fans of “19 Kids and Counting” and its assorted spinoffs are invited to the wedding of Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo in the new season of “Counting On”, focusing on the lives of sisters Jinger Duggar and Jessa Seewald.
The new season finds Jinger counting down to her wedding day, and all the stress that involves.
“With less than three months until Jinger and Jeremy’s wedding and more than 1,000 guests in attendance, the planning could not be done without Duggar-style teamwork,” explains the synopsis for this season. “This exciting season follows the journey from the altar to their honeymoon down under in a special two-hour wedding event. Viewers get an inside look into custom wedding dress shopping, venue preparation and a bachelorette party only the ‘Counting On’ sisters could plan. But as wedding bells begin to ring, the realization that Jinger is moving far away from home to start her new life with Jeremy leaves the family with bittersweet feelings.”

Meanwhile, newlyweds, Jessa and Ben are preparing for the arrival of the newest member of the Seewald family, who’ll be joining one-year-old sibling Spurgeon. “As Jessa and Ben prepare for this next journey, Jill and Derick reveal a little surprise of their own,” adds the synopsis. “To top it all off, Joy has entered into a new courtship with long-time friend, Austin and enjoys the perks of an official relationship, including chaperoned dates and side hugs.”
The new season of “Counting On” begins on Monday, Jan. 16.
