“Cheers” remains one of television’s most beloved sitcoms, and given the recent spate of TV reboots (“Gilmore Girls”, “Fuller House” etc.), what are the odds that viewers will see Sam, Rebecca, Norm, Carla and the rest of the gang back in the iconic Boston bar?
That’s the question Rachael Ray asked former “Cheers” star Kirstie Alley when she appeared on “The Rachael Ray” show, and Alley admits she’d love to return to the tavern where everybody knows your name.
“Well, I would,” says Alley when asked if she’d reprise the character of Rebecca Howe in a “Cheers” revival, “but I might be the only one at the bar!”
During her appearance, the actress also discusses turning 66, spending the holidays with her baby grandson, Waylon, and her new corgi puppy, and her recent role on “Scream Queens”.
You can watch more with Kirstie Alley on Friday’s edition of “The Rachael Ray Show”.
