The “Star Wars” and “Trainspotting” star plays two different brothers on season three of FX’s “Fargo”. Addressing a panel at the Television Critics Association’s press tour on Thursday, McGregor revealed why he showed up to a freezing-cold shoot at Canada’s countryside a day early: “I didn’t like the idea of them starting without me,” he explained.

The 45-year-old actor admitted no accent on earth has stumped him quite as much as that of his two Minnesotan characters on “Fargo”: “It’s very difficult, strange accent to lock into. I don’t know if it’s harder as a non-American. It’s the hardest accent I’ve ever done, and I’ve done Dutch once!”
