Jimmy Fallon enlisted “Tonight Show” guest Kevin Bacon for a brand-new “First Drafts of Rock” sketch during Thursday’s edition of the late-night talk show.

Fallon and Bacon, bewigged and sporting groovy 1970s-style duds, impersonated brothers Ray and Dave Davies of The Kinks singing the band’s 1970 hit “Lola”.

As fans of the classic-rock staple know, the song’s chorus includes spelling the name out, “L-O-L-A, Lola” — which provides a bit of a struggle for Bacon and Fallon in the bit as they improvise such spelled out lyrics as “Y-O-G-A, Yoga” and “G-O-R-gonzola.”

Things hit a major stumbling block, however, when they attempt to spell the word “donut.”

This is the third time Bacon has joined Fallon for a “First Drafts of Rock” sketch, with previous entries including Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin'” and The Beach Boys’ “Fun, Fun, Fun”.
