Ryan Reynolds keeps racking up the accolades.

The Canadian actor was named Hasty Pudding Man Of The Year, an honour handed out by Harvard University’s theatre group.

“Ryan Reynolds is one of Hollywood’s most diverse leading men seamlessly transitioning through varied genres of drama, action and comedy in his rich and ever evolving career,” the group said in a statement.

The oldest theatrical student group in the United States, Hasty Pudding traces its roots back to the early 1700s.  Previous recipients include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kiefer Sutherland, Jason Segel and Chris Pratt.

Reynolds, who recently landed a star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame, is set to accept the honour from the group on February 3 in a ceremony that will be streamed online.

The news comes on the heels of Golden Globe nominations for Reynolds and “Deadpool”.  And now, the actor is hoping his anti-hero movie will go for Oscar gold.

On Thursday, Reynolds posted a tongue-in-cheek “For Your Consideration” video to Twitter, hoping to court Academy voters.
