Prince Harry has seen his share of controversy over the years, between wearing inappropriate Halloween costumes to, well, not wearing anything at all. But the 30-year-old royal has won over the public as of late, from his exemplary military record to his key role in bringing the Invictus Games to London.
In fact, a new poll conducted by Newsweek reveals Harry is now the most popular member of Britain’s Royal Family, with 20 percent of respondents placing him as their number one choice.
As for those of you who assumed Kate Middleton would have clinched the top spot, we’ve got a surprise: the Duchess didn’t even crack the top three. Shocker!
Second place honours went to Queen Elizabeth II with 17 percent of the vote. And the bronze medal? Prince William, with 10 percent. As for poor Duchess Kate, she clocked in with a mere nine percent. Has the world gone topsy turvy?
Mind you, she shouldn’t feel that bad. Technically, the top response to the question, “Who is your favourite member of the Royal Family”; was “I don’t have a favourite member.”; (32 percent.)
