It’s a girl! Chelsea Clinton and her husband, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky, have announced the birth of their first child.
The former first daughter took to Twitter late Friday night with the message, “Marc and I are full of love, awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky.”;
Kamyl Bazbaz, a spokesman for the Clinton family, confirmed Charlotte was born on September 26, but so far hasn’t provided additional details.
Days before the baby’s arrival, Chelsea’s father, former President Bill Clinton, shared some wise words to CNN about his role as a grandfather. ”Every day I get up and I say, ‘You have to remember whose child this is. Do not interfere. Be there when you are welcome. Be loving but not judgmental.”’
