Country pop-powerhouse Lady Antebellum have a brand new album at the ready and you better believe ET Canada would go to any length to get the inside scoop on what’s going on with the band in advance of this hotly anticipated release.
Our Sangita Patel met up with the mega-selling trio at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in the Dominican Republic to score all the essential dish on the new record and on the group themselves. With platinum plaques, Grammy statuettes and millions of fans to their name, does Lady Antebellum measure success differently in 2014?
“It’s changed,”; admits Hillary Scott.
“It’s tough to say,”; adds bandmate Charles Kelley. “I mean, obviously, “Need You Now’ helped blow us up as a band really quickly.”;
Just like country fans everywhere, the Nashville three-piece are incredibly excited for 747 to come out tomorrow.
“I will say that the night before the record comes out, it’s totally Christmas Eve,”; Scott told ET Canada. “You have a hard time sleeping.”;
Lady Antebellum have been keeping incredibly busy throughout 2014. In addition to putting out 747, the “Bartender”; hitmakers have been a fixture on the road. According the band, hitting the stage is one perk that never gets old.
“We enjoy being up there performing,”; explained Dave Haywood. “I think all three of us have been really great about keeping each other grounded over the years. That’s one of the pros of being in a group.”;
