Amanda Bynes was arrested early Sunday morning for a DWI — driving while impaired.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the troubled star was pulled over at approximately 3:45 a.m. after running a red light.
After being unable to complete a field sobriety test, the 28-year-old was transported to a local police station where she was given a drug evaluation.
Police were able to determine that the former actress had been under the influence of an unknown drug which impaired her ability to operate a vehicle.
A “cooperative” Bynes, who is currently under probation stemming from a 2012 DUI arrest, was then officially booked for a DWI at the LAPD Van Nuys Jail. The child star’s booking sheet reveals that she was released Sunday afternoon after being held under $15,000 USD bail.
Bynes’ court date is set for October 23.
