The only thing more epic than “xXx: Return of Xander Cage” was the prank war Nina Dobrev and Ruby Rose had behind the scenes.
In one instance, Rose hired a Taylor Swift impersonator to serenade Dobrev on set. The prank, unfortunately, didn’t go off as well as the 30-year-old Australian actress — or the Swift impersonator, for that matter — would have liked.
“She hired an impersonator to come to our set and sing to me and bombard me in my trailer, but what she didn’t know was that the girl hired to do this was actually a huge fan,” Dobrev, 28, revealed on Thursday’s episode of “The Late Late Show”.
Part-way through her performance, the “Bad Blood” wannabe started seeing red for real: “She got really nervous and in the middle of it she hit her head and started bleeding,” the “Vampire Diaries” alum continued.
Television host Chris Hardwick, who joined Dobrev on James Corden’s show, put it best: “Taylor not so Swift!”
