What is the “Santa Clarita Diet”?
TV viewers will soon find out when the new dark comedy makes its debut on Netflix, starring Timothy Olyphant (“Justified”) and Drew Barrymore (“The Wedding Singer”) as husband-and-wife realtors in a California suburb who are stuck in a rut.
That all changes when an unexpected complication enters their lives, the nature of which leads Olyphant’s character to utter lines such as: “I just stuffed a man in a meat freezer.”
