Have you missed Mama June Shannon and Honey Boo Boo? If so, you’ll be happy to know they’re back. Shannon, 37, has a whole new attitude and look to debut with her new show, WE tv’s “Mama June: From Not to Hot”.

The family is famous for their hit TLC reality show, “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”, which was a spin-off from “Toddlers & Tiaras” and gave fans an inside look at Alana’s (Honey Boo Boo) life outside of beauty pageants and introduced us to her lovable family. The show ended in 2014; now Shannon, Alana and the rest of the family are back for Shannon’s weight-loss journey.

Over the course of seven episodes, we’ll see the mother of four’s drastic plastic surgery and new workout lifestyle to help her achieve her weight-loss goal. And, of course, the whole family is there to support her.

In a clip from the show, we catch up with the family and what we’ve missed. Shannon has said goodbye to her old life, and that includes her cheating ex, Sugar Bear. With a new lease on life, she’s looking to reinvent herself and her health.

We also see Shannon have some reservations before her transformational journey. “I’m scared, too,” she tearfully tells her daughters before heading into surgery. “When I’m done, I’m not even going to recognize my own self in the mirror,” she says in the clip.

WE tv is very excited about the upcoming series and says it will be authentically Mama June. “No one is more authentic and fun to watch than Mama June. We are pleased to show viewers a new side of Mama June as she transforms her body, and her life, while still maintaining her signature sense of humour. We are rooting for her as she goes on her amazing journey and we know the audience will too,” said WE tv president Marc Juris in a statement.

Shannon will tackle dating on the series, too. She finds out that Sugar Bear is going to get remarried, which only adds fuel to her personal fire. Her journey wouldn’t be complete without the support of her family and it looks like an emotional journey for everyone.
