Last year, Newton bravely came forward and told the world she was sexually abused by an unnamed director.

The actress, now 45, reveals that the director told her to touch her breasts while a camera filmed up her skirt for a callback audition – she later discovered that the director was showing the tape at his parties to his friends.

Many years later and now a mother-of-three, Newton’s opened up to her kids about the assault, “I told them that the first time I ever had a sexual encounter, it was abuse.”

The Golden Globe nominated actress then reveals she has since had a bold conversation with her kids about sex.
