The man in the magical hat has paired up with everyone’s favourite robot-helmeted Frenchmen for the visual accompaniment attached to the G I R L cut “Gust of Wind”;. As an additional bonus, Shaun of the Dead director Edgar Wright was put in charge of directing the whole affair. Who can say “no”; to that?
Beautiful women, tasteful autumn scenery and light rhythmic gymnastics all feature prominently in the clip. (It’s a bit like an ambitious Eddie Bauer catalogue at times.) Daft Punk show up for chunklets as a pair of floating helmets and Pharrell spends a lot of the clip making an afternoon in the woods seem like an emotionally enriching way to spend a Tuesday.
