The “Ocean’s Eight” cast just made their official in-character debut in a photo released by Warner Bros.
The film, which is an all-female reboot of the “Ocean’s Eleven” franchise, stars Sandra Bullock, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Paulson, and hip-hop artist Awkwafina. The actresses play a team of thieves who plan to steal a necklace from the Met Gala and frame a gallery owner, played by Damian Lewis, for the crime.
Flipping the script on the previous three films (not to mention the original 1960, Rat Pack classic starring Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., and Dean Martin), ‘Ocean’s Eight’ isn’t just a reboot, it’s a continuation… of sorts.
The connection? Sandra Bullock plays Danny Ocean’s ex-con sister.
Sangita Patel caught up with star — and recent SAG Award recipient — Sarah Paulson backstage to talk about her amazing co-stars.
“Some of the greatest women,” Paulson says of her co-stars. “Not only are they extraordinary actresses, they’re funny, they’re game, they’re generous.”
“There’s no cat-fighting going on, I know that’s a more boring story, unfortunately. I wish people were more excited about how extraordinarily well we all get along,” she laments. “Sometimes we can’t even shoot we’re laughing so hard and that’s pretty special.”
But it seems that Paulson is particularly taken with one, sharing the one problem with having Rihanna on set.

“I’m constantly singing to her,” the 42-year-old reveals, adding that her ideas for lyrics and new songs are gently declined.
“She does indulge me, because she’s a nice person,” Sarah says. Watch more with Sarah above.
The film is slated for release June 8, 2018, and will feature cameos from Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Katie Holmes, Anna Wintour, Zayn Malik, Matt Damon (as his ‘Ocean’s’ character, Linus Caldwell), James Corden, and Olivia Munn.
