Fans of CW Network’s “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” know about the many mentions of period sex on the popular show, but the show creators took the topic another step further.
The CW dropped an entire, online exclusive, music video about perks on having sex during that time of the month.
The show’s star, Golden Globe-winner Rachel Bloom stars in the TMI video, “Everyone’s been stopping the music video ‘Period Sex’ from happening. But the joke’s on them because now, they’re all in the music video ‘Period Sex’.”

Bloom proposes viewers “think of it as just Mother Nature’s juice cleanse,” “cherry lube” and “another kind of lip gloss.”
“It’s a little gross,” Bloom sings, “but I’m less likely to get pregnant during period sex.” But, of course, it is a myth that you can’t get pregnant while menstruating, as Bustle reports.
