Miles Teller Shuts Down The Reports He And Emma Watson Were Too Demanding For ‘La La Land’

Even though Miles Teller and Emma Watson were close to getting cast in “La La Land” as the leads, which ended up going to Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, Teller refutes reports they were “too demanding” for the roles.

An unnamed “movie insider” started the rumours when they told “Page Six” that salary demands is what kept Teller from taking on the part. Reporting that Teller wanted $6 million instead of the $4 million originally offered. The same source claims Watson would not commit because she allegedly asked for the film to be shot in London instead of Los Angeles – the city the film is named after.

THR didn’t mention any of the so-called demands Watson made, but they did report that the actress “waffled over the time commitment” and ultimately chose to do Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” instead.
