Pop provocateur Miley Cyrus served as the star attraction on this morning’s edition of the Australian breakfast show Sunrise. In addition to slinging a few tunes, the “We Can’t Stop”; star sat down for a bit of chat. The hosts were particularly intrigued with how Miley stays so “chill.”;

“I just kind of grew up in this world, so fame and money, I kind of know what they give you, which isn’t a lot, even though people think it’s kind of everything,”; said Miley.

The singer told Sunrise that she values joy over fame.

“At the end of it, y’know, people can be the most famous and rich people in the world and have all this stuff but they’re not really that happy and so I just decided, about a year ago, that my whole life goal was just to be happy all the time,”; explained the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana.

Miley also revealed that she’d be interested in becoming a stand-up comedian if she weren’t already in the singing racket.

“I’m a walking joke,”; offered the pop star. “I am the joke – look at me – hence my hair is from a two-dollar store because I didn’t want to do my hair in the morning,”;
