Faith Evans will soon be releasing her long-awaited album of duets with former love Biggie Smalls, who married in 1994 and remained hip hop’s hottest couple until the iconic rapper’s still-unsolved murder in 1997.

In addition to new tracks featuring The Notorious B.I.G., the upcoming album — titled “The King & I” — features guest appearances from Busta Rhymes, Lil’ Cease, Lil’ Kim, Sheek Louch and Styles P. The album’s first two singles — “NYC”, featuring Jadakiss, and “When We Party”, featuring Snoop Dogg, are available now.

Evans teased the new album on her Instagram page, noting it’s available for pre-order before its official release on May 19.

The album, notes the announcement, “tells the story of their life together,” with the 25 tracks featuring newly recorded vocals by Evans melded with vocals that Smalls recorded before his death. “The King & I” also includes some “rare and unheard rhymes from the B.I.G. vault.”

In addition, the album also features a very special guest: Biggie Smalls’ mother, Voletta Wallace, whose voice is on multiple interludes in order to “provide a poignant narration of the album.” Additional performers on the album include 112, Kevin McCall, Chyna Tahjere and Jamal “Gravy” Woolard, who portrayed B.I.G. in the 2009 film “Notorious”.

“I remember telling Ms. Wallace years ago that one day it would be really dope if I could do something similar to Natalie and Nat King Cole’s ‘Unforgettable’,” says Evans. “Knowing the love that B.I.G. had for [his children] Tyanna and Ceejay, I feel it’s my duty to uphold and extend his legacy, especially his musical contributions. This project is my creative reflection of the love we had and the bond we will always have. I’m elated to share this musical journey with our fans!”

Faith Evans may a big name in the hip hop community, but she’s apparently not so well known over at CNN, which hilariously misidentified her in a tweet as country singer Faith Hill.

While CNN quickly issued a correction identifying the correct Faith, the Twitterverse was nonetheless amused by this monumental mix-up:

The final word on the mix-up came from Faith Hill herself, who effectively ended the conversation with this hilarious tweet declaring that a Faith Hill-Notorious B.I.G. collaboration “sounds awesome!”

In any case, Faith Evans (not Faith Hill) has revealed the track list for “The King & I”:
