While Emma Stone has been cleaning up all awards season — recently winning the SAG Award for her performance in “La La Land” — the actress revealed that she’s had a few humiliating, yet humbling, moments along the way these past few months.
Stone, 28, was put back by the surreal moment of her handprint ceremony at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater alongside Ryan Gosling. She joked that she had no idea what was going on and is convinced the area is full and hers won’t actually be displayed.

During her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday, Stone revealed she was truly lost during the ceremony. “I thought, They’ve got all the hand and footprints. This is just a fun little celebration and they put it up in a museum somewhere. I don’t know why I thought this. It wasn’t explained to me,” she said.
Stone thought it was a nostalgic celebration and that the prints were going to be kept inside after. “They were like, ‘Here’s your practice cement slab and then, when you get out there for the real one that stays out there, you’ll know what to do.’ And I was like, ‘What do you mean stays out there!?’ … I had no idea!” she revealed, admitting she burst into tears right after.

She also made light of her Golden Globes guffaw when she went in to hug “La La Land” director Damien Chazelle while he was attempting to hug his girlfriend. “Damien certainly wants to hug not me,” she joked.
The actress also revealed she doesn’t think there is an obvious choice right now as to who Nick Viall will choose on “The Bachelor”. Kimmel and Stone agreed Vanessa from Montreal seems like a smart choice, but they didn’t seem too convinced.
