It looks like Beyonce and Jay Z aren’t the only celebrity power couple welcoming twins in 2017. On Thursday’s “The Talk“, Julie Chen confirmed congratulations are in order for Amal and George Clooney who are expecting twins.
Chen made the exciting announcement on Global TV’s “The Talk” during the show’s hot topics portion. After discussing who gets the armrest on a plane, Chen joked that Clooney should give his wife the option.

Chen went on to elaborate on the pregnancy confirmation: “What we did find out, that no one else is reporting, is that the twins are due this June.” A source also confirms the due date to Us Weekly.
And ET Canada’s Matte Babel caught up with Clooney’s good friend Matt Damon on Thursday afternoon, who confirmed the pregnancy news: “I was working with him last fall and he pulled me aside on set and I mean, I almost started crying. I was so happy for him. And I was like, ‘how far along is she?’ And he goes, ‘eight weeks.’”
Damon followed up with: “‘Are you out of your mind?! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t tell anybody else! Don’t you know the 12-week rule?’ Like of course he doesn’t. I was like, ‘just shut up, man.’ And then four weeks later, I’m like, ‘we’re good right?'” And Clooney confirmed to Damon: “‘We’re good.'”
Damon, who has four kids of his own, adds, “So yeah, I’m thrilled for him. She’s amazing. He hit the jackpot. Just on every level. She is a remarkable woman. They’re gonna be great. They’re gonna be awesome parents. Those kids are lucky.”
Amal, 39, and George, 55, have been married for over two years, after tying the knot in Italy in September 2014.
This happy news comes just over a week after Beyonce broke the Internet with the announcement she and Jay Z are expecting twins. And Madonna also confirmed this week she adopted twin sisters from Malawi.
