Michael Buble’s touching new music video for “I Believe in You” tells a tale as old as time and will thaw even the iciest of hearts.
Created, directed, and starring Emmy-award-winning choreographer Derek Hough, the new video explores the romantic story of a couple through their various stages of life. It all starts when a pretty girl catches the attention of an adorable little boy.
The puppy love transforms into a relationship between two young teens sharing their first kiss, as guitar strumming and Buble’s unique voice pick at the heartstrings. The kids grow up and get married and move in together as the video transitions to a cleverly choreographed dance scene inside a mid-renovation home.
Buble’s feel-good track continues to exude love as the characters have children, fight and make up, and grow old together. Be warned, you will likely experience tears.
“Dancing with the Stars” superstar Hough took over video production while Buble takes a break from his career to focus on the well-being of his three-year-old son, Noah, who is being treated for cancer. The Canadian crooner shared good news last week, revealing that Noah’s treatments are going well.
Hough, 31, wrote on his official Facebook page, “It’s been a pleasure to work on this project – a positive story about everlasting love. Sending all that energy to Michael and his wonderful family #believeinyou.”
“I Believe in You” is the second single from Buble’s “Nobody But Me” album, which debuted last October at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart.
