That’s the word coming from Bravo, which has announced Bethenny Frankel will be returning to The Real Housewives of New York City. Since leaving the show after its third season, the Skinnygirl mogul starred in two Housewives spinoffs, Bethenny Getting Married and Bethenny Ever After, before launching her own talk show, Bethenny, which was cancelled earlier this year after running for a single season.
“I’m genuinely excited, with a side of slightly nervous, for my return to The Real Housewives of New York City,”; Bethenny said in a statement. “Bravo has always been the place on television where I have the freedom to be unfiltered, honest and inappropriate, with an audience who has been with me from the beginning. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings for all of us. Watch what happens!”;
Added Bravo’s Andy Cohen: “Bethenny is one of the most popular Housewives in the history of the franchise, and I couldn’t be more excited she is coming home to Bravo!”;
Bethenny’s return to the reality show that made her famous is something of a reversal from the position she held in 2010 after leaving, when she told TV Guide, “You’d have to drag me back [to Real Housewives].”;
Look for Bethenny’s return in the seventh season of Real Housewives of New York City when it airs on Slice sometime next year.
