Carly Rae Jepsen Raps In ‘It Takes Two’ Remix And Target Ad With Lil Yachty

An epic collaboration is days away from its debut! Carly Rae Jepsen and Lil Yachty have teamed up for Target’s latest commercial, set to air during the Grammys.

Together with producer Mike WiLL Made-It and director Roman Coppola, the retailer promises an astounding three-minute commercial that will keep viewers entertained well beyond the boundaries of the award show’s star-studded lineup.

The ad is set to feature a cover of Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock’s classic “It Takes Two” as the rapper and Canadian singer put on a full spectacle through the department store. “It was a great experience,” Lil Yachty told Billboard. “I got to bring my whole team out for filming so we had so much fun! It was fire.”

Target released a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the spot on Friday, giving viewers a colourful and thrilling preview of the epic commercial. And with Lil Yachty jumping on a hoverboard and Jepsen trying out her rapper skills, Target’s latest marketing venture surely won’t disappoint.
