Kate Middleton has made her first appearance since announcing her second pregnancy.

The Duchess of Cambridge joined Prince William at London’s Royal Garden Hotel on Tuesday. As usual, the Royal couple were all smiles and waves as they welcomed the President of the Republic of Singapore and his wife Mary, who are currently in the UK on a state visit.

Kate looked elegant in a grey coat dress by designer Alexander McQueen which she paired with a grey fascinator by Jane Taylor, but she was well covered up so you couldn’t see much of the bump. Prince William wore what any Prince would wear for the occasion… a suit. William looked happy to have his gorgeous wife back by his side for the occasion, which included a state carriage procession along the Mall and a Ceremonial Welcome from the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.

The Duchess has been absent from her Royal duties recently after suffering from severe morning sickness, which saw Prince William attend events on his own over the last few months. The Palace has confirmed that Kate “continues to be affected by Hyperemisis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving.”;

I’m sure we aren’t the only ones who will be hoping to see a lot more of the Princess and her stunning outfit choices before the baby arrives in April 2015.
