During her recent press tour stop at USA Today to talk about her latest film “Camp X-Ray”;, Kristen Stewart announced that she will be taking a break from acting to work on different forms of art.
“I’m taking some time off because I’ve been working for two years,”; the actress says. Adding, “I’m an actor and that’s my art form and because I started so young, I’ve always felt intimidated and insufficient when I think about other forms of art I want to create.”;
And she really means it. During those two years, Stewart has pumped out seven films, the most recent of which sees the actress playing a wide-eyed army private assigned to Guantanamo Bay.
Another project, “Equals”;, starring Nicholas Hoult, the actress proclaims “tore her up emotionally,”; making this well deserved break a necessity.
Explaining more of her planned stay-cation, the 24-year-old actress says “I’m going to take so much time off, I’m going to buy a live-work space in downtown LA and I’m going to make some (stuff) with my hands.”;
Continuing on, she says, “literally, I made that decision a few weeks ago… I’m making a bunch of (stuff). I don’t know how I’ll put it out. But I’m not going to hold it so preciously close to me. I write all the time.”;
What do you think about Kristen taking some time off? Will you miss her on the big-screen?
