Drake attempted to assist a suicidal man who was threatening to jump off a bridge while the rapper was driving past him.
While in Manchester, England on Saturday, Drake’s tour bus drove past the suicidal man and the rapper offered to speak to him for assistance. There was a traffic jam as a result of police blocking off the roads to help the man and Drake’s bus was caught in the middle.
“One officer was approached by a male from a tour van caught up in the traffic congestion, claiming to be part of Drake’s entourage,” Phil Spurgeon, of the City Centre Integrated Neighbourhood Policing Team, told the Manchester Evening News.
“He offered for Drake to speak to the male on the bridge, if that would help. The offer was declined with thanks,” Spurgeon revealed.
The officers managed to convince the man to come back off the bridge to safety and he was brought to the hospital for treatment. Drake is currently on tour in Europe for the Boy Meets World Tour.
