Riley Keough remembers her mother Lisa Marie Presley’s two-year marriage to the late Michael Jackson in a new interview with T Magazine.
“I loved him,” the 27-year-old granddaughter of Elvis Presley says of Jackson.
The Golden Globe nominated actress recalls the times she used to stay at the $100 million Neverland Ranch with her mom, “There were toys everywhere, animals everywhere, kids everywhere.”
“It was like being at Disneyland all day,” she continues.
“Looking back on it, I’m like, ‘Wow, my upbringing was very intense,'” the “Girlfriend Experience” actress notes.
Of her mom, Presley, having been married four times, including a 108-day marriage to Nicolas Cage she reveals: “My mom’s a tough b***h.”
Keough reveals starting her own career was always the plan: “I always wanted to be in film. I knew that. I grew up in a family of musicians, so it was also something I wasn’t around a lot. I wanted to make movies and that’s all I wanted to do when I was a kid was film everything and I was very fascinated with people and human behaviour.”
Keough’s new film, “Lovesong”, co-starring “The Hunger Games” star Jenna Malone, hits theatres Friday.
